Wax Injection

Hot liquid wax is injected through Wax Injection on Press (Fully Automatic, Semi-Automatic and Manual Press) at high pressure into a metalic mould (Die).

Wax Pattern Inspection & Cleaning

Wax Pattern we inspected visually and measured by measuring tools then cleaning & repairing pattern for better surface finish.

Wax Pattern Assembly

Wax Pattern we assembled by sticking them on a wax sprue or runner to form a cluster or tree which is called Wax Pattern Assembly.

Shell Making

The wax pattern assembly is dipped in to a refractory slurry and coated with refractory grains (Stucco). This process of dipping and coating is repeated several times, which is depending on size and configuration of component. All this process is called "Investment" in early times of England. A casting made through this process is called an "Investment Casting Process".

De-Waxing

In De-waxing process the wax is melted out by applying pressurised steam in Autoclave Boiler. Now the shell having cavity inside.

Pre-Heating of Shell

After De-waxing process the shells are pre-heated in a Shell Backing Furnace to make the enough strong to bear molten metal pressure while liquid metal pour in the shell.

Melting & Pouring

Metal is melted in an Induction Furnace then a batch sample will be test on spectrometer as per standard grade if any correction required that correction will be done by metallurgist then molten metal will be poured into the pre-heated shell.

Knock out (Shell Removing) and Cutting

After cooling of pored shell, the shell is removed through mechanical vibrating unit and then individual casting are cut-off from the cluster by using arc or plasma flame or abrasive disc.

Heat Treatment

Casting are Heat Treated to get the specified mechanical properties as required.

Fettling

The process of fettling is cutting or grinding off of unwanted portions of the casting. The casting is cleaning and finishing with various processes for required surface finish and dimensional accuracy. Further some additional process like machining, hardning, electroplating, polishing as per customer requirements.

Testing and Final Inspection

With every heat pouring we take test bar shell which is tested in mechanical lab, we are testing test bar on universal testing machine, impact testing machine and hardness testing machine. Some other testing like die-penetration test, radiography test, micro-structure pest, pressure test we are doing as per customer requirement.

Final Inspection will be done visually and by measuring Instruments then casting will be ready to dispatch.
